Highlassies finish third at national tournament, four earn All-American honors
Severe weather forced the cancellation of today's final round at the NJCAA Women's National Championship at the par-72, 6,139-yard LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida, making the third round results the final results.
The McLennan Highlassies shot 300-296-313 – 909 to finish in third place. Daytona State finished in first place with 291-292-293 – 876, followed by Seminole State in second with 292-306-303 – 901.
Freshman Roanne Tomlinson led the Highlassies with 71-69-79 – 219 and finished tied for second place.
