Highlanders No. 8 in latest Bushnell/Golfweek poll

The McLennan men's golf squad slipped four spots to eighth in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA Division I Coaches Poll. The Highlanders received 28 points in the poll.

Odessa (Texas) moved up four spots to No.1 this week with 61 points, and Midland (Texas) remained at No. 2 with 58 points. Indian Hills (Iowa) fell from first to No. 3 with 50 points.

McLennan, Odessa and Midland all compete in NJCAA Southwest District 2. Other district competitors in the rankings include: New Mexico, up one spot to fourth, 48 points; Ranger, up two spots to a tie for sixth, 32 points; and Western Texas, remaining in ninth, 16 points. Blinn is receiving votes.
