Rodriguez chosen as Position Player of the Week

Sophomore outfielder Elijah Rodriguez was the NTJCAC Position Player of the Week for Feb. 12-18. The Waco native had a .556 batting average for the week with a double, a triple and four walks. He went 2-3 at the plate with a triple, two RBI and a walk in the 8-5 loss to Iowa Western and 2-3 with a double, an RBI and two walks in the 8-5 loss to Blinn. He wrapped up the weekend going 1-3 with a walk in the 6-5 win over Hutchinson.
