Bio

Kristen Chapman joined the McLennan Sports Medicine staff in Summer 2023. She spent the previous two years working as the head athletic trainer for the Marlin Independent School District, where she worked with all varsity and sub-varsity teams. While at Marlin, Chapman established an athletic training education program, which educated students on basic first aid and athletic training room responsibilities.

Prior to her tenure in Marlin, Chapman worked as an athletic trainer for Baylor Scott & White Institute of Rehabilitation.

Chapman received a bachelor’s in athletic training from Baylor University in 2017 and a master’s in sports pedagogy from Baylor in 2019.
