McLennan Sports Medicine
McLennan’s Sports Medicine department is comprised of two full-time athletic trainers along with students studying kinesiology to work with athletes on all seven sports teams during practice and on gamedays to prevent, treat and rehabilitate injuries. The program is intended to provide students with a foundation of athletic training skills that can transfer into a bachelor’s degree program at a four-year university. This program focuses on a blend of courses to understand athletic training concepts combined with exposure to real-life athletic situations that provide hands-on experience and critical thinking/problem solving skills.
