Highlanders finish fifth in OKC

The McLennan Highlanders finished in fifth place with 344-334-345 – 1,023 at the Kyle Blaser Invitational at Gaillardia County Club in Oklahoma City.
 
Texas Wesleyan was first with 323-317-311 – 951, followed by Oklahoma City in second with 327-320-316 – 963; and Redlands in third with 331-331-322 – 984.
 
Carmen Gonzalez Lo-A-Njoe shot 81-82-85 – 243 to lead the Highlanders and finish in 16th place.
 
Other team scores: Millie Roach, 20th, 86-83-84 – 253; Brooke Kocher, tied for 25th, 87-84-86 – 257; Kymbree Larance, tied for 31st, 87-89-90 – 266; Lottie Cadle, 34th, 92-85-90 – 267; and Natalia Armenta, 37th, 90-88-93 – 271.
