Highlanders finish third at Texas Intercollegiate

The McLennan Highlanders shot 306-305-310 – 921 to finish in third place in the Texas Intercollegiate at the Hawks Creek Golf Club in Fort Worth.
 
Host Texas Wesleyan was first with 299-295-296 – 890, followed by Blinn is in second with 301-303-297 – 901.
 
Carmen Gonzalez Lo-A-Njoe shot 73-74-77 – 224 to lead the Highlanders and finish tied for fifth place.
 
Other McLennan scores: Lottie Cadle, tied for 13th, 79-75-76 – 230; Millie Roach, 17th, 75-75-83 – 233; Brooke Kocher, 18th, 79-81-75 – 235; and Kymbree Larance, 28th, 79-84-82 – 245.

McLennan will host the Waco River Classic Sept. 16-17 at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course.
