Highlassies finishes in 12th place at Bearkat Invitational

The McLennan Highlassies shot 342-323-320 – 985 to finish in 12th place at the Bearkat Women's Invitational at the par-71, 6,164-yard High Meadow Ranch Golf Course in Magnolia.

Host Sam Houston State finished in first place with 295-287-295 – 877, followed by Lamar in second with 298-298-288 – 884 and Houston Baptist in third with 293-297-300 – 890.

Sophomore Elin Eriksson shot 85-75-80 – 240 to lead the Highlassies and finish tied for 46th place.
