McLennan women up to #8 in NJCAA Rankings

The McLennan women's basketball spot moved up one spot to #8 in this week's women's basketball rankings. McLennan has an overall record of 22-2 and lead's the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference with an 11-1 record.
 
Chipola (Florida) moved up two spots to #1 with a record of 25-2. Three Rivers (Missouri) also moved up two spots to #2 with a 24-2 record. Northwest Florida State (23-2) slipped one spot to #3, and New Mexico, the previous #1, slipped to #4 with a 25-2 record. Wabash Valley (Illinois) remained at #5 with a 25-2 record.
 
McLennan and New Mexico both competed in NJCAA Region V along with: South Plains, up two spots to #9, 21-3; Odessa, up one spot to #17, 17-7; and Grayson, down one spot to #24, 20-6.
 
Other Texas schools ranked include: Trinity Valley, steady at #15, 21-4; and Blinn, receiving votes.
