McLennan women remain at #9 in NJCAA Rankings

The McLennan women's basketball squad remained at #9 for the consecutive week in the NJCAA Division I Basketball Rankings.

The Top-11 teams stayed the same as the previous rankings: New Mexico, #1, 25-1; Northwest Florida State, #2, 23-1; Chipola (Florida), #3, 24-2; Three Rivers (Missouri), #4, 23-2. Wabash Valley (Illinois), #5 24-2; Shelton State (Alabama), 24-3; Dodge City, #7, 22-3; Hutchinson (Kansas), #8, 23-2; McLennan (Texas), #9, 20-2; Gulf Coast State (Florida), #10, 19-3; and South Plains, #11, 20-3.

New Mexico, McLennan and South Plains all compete in Region V along with Odessa, down two spots to #18, 16-7, and Grayson, up two spots to #23, 19-5. Other Texas teams ranked are: Trinity Valley, down three spots to #15, 19-4; and Blinn, up one spot to #24, 20-5.

McLennan hosts Ranger at 5 p.m. Wednesday at The Highlanders before traveling to Sherman Saturday to face #23 Grayson at 2 p.m.
