Ingram & Chatman named NTJCAC Players of the Week

McLennan Basketball's Jalayah Ingram and Evan Chatman were named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference's Players of the Week for Nov. 11-17.

In three games last week, Ingram, a sophomore point guard from Pearland, tallied 40 points, 16 assists,14 rebounds, two steals and two blocks. She began the week with a double-double against Coastal Bend, scoring 10 points and dishing out 10 assists with six rebounds. Then in the 69-58 win over Tyler on Saturday, she scored 21 points to go along with three rebounds, three assists and a steal.

Chatman, a sophomore forward from Harker Heights, scored 28 points in two games last week with 11 rebounds, six assists, four steals and a block. In the win over North Lake, he recorded 17 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals. He then scored 11 points with five rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block in the win over Kilgore. Chatman also signed a Letter of Intent last week with the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
