Basketball players moving on
Three McLennan basketball players signed National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, spring national signing day.
Ashley Bean, a sophomore guard from Waco, signed with the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. She averaged 11.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game this year, and was named to the all-conference first team and was a Women's Basketball Association Junior/Community College Coaches' All-American honorable mention selection.
Wayne Langston, a sophomore forward from Washington, D.C., signed with Murray State University in Murray, Ky. He averaged 10.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game this year to earn North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player and first-team all-conference honors, and was a NJCAA First-Team All-American.
Deondre Ray, a sophomore guard from Fort Worth, signed with Cameron University in Lawton, Okla. He averaged 7.1 points and 2.9 rebounds per game this year.
