Highlassies continue to receive votes in latest NJCAA poll

The McLennan Highlassies are continuing to receive votes in the latest NJCAA Division I Softball Rankings. The top three teams remained the same this week. Chipola (Florida) is first, followed by Florida SouthWestern State in second and Tyler (Texas) in third.

Temple, a conference and regional rival for the Highlassies, dropped one spot this week to sixth. Other Texas teams in the poll: Howard (eighth) and Blinn (14th). Weatherford is also receiving votes.

The Highlassies have an overall record of 13-2 and are 9-1 in conference play. They continue conference play tomorrow, hosting Hill for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
