Resendez named Position Player of the Week

McLennan Highlassie centerfielder Dariann Resendez was named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Position Player of the Week for March 12-18.
The sophomore from Austin hit .348 for the week with two doubles, a triple, a home run, five RBIs and seven runs scored. In the Highlassies' 8-0 win over Ranger, she was 2-4 at the plate with two doubles and three RBIs.
