McLennan softball drops out of NJCAA poll

Following last week's losses to Weatherford, the McLennan Community College softball team dropped from 12th to receiving votes in the final Marucci Sports Division I Softball Rankings of the season released by the NJCAA.
Salt Lake (Utah) remained in first place, followed by Central Florida in second and Wallace Stat (Alabama) in third.
Temple moved up to 13th and is the only Region V North team to make the poll. Howard (ninth), Blinn (10th), Midland (11th) and Odessa (15th) round out the Texas schools in the poll. Tyler is receiving votes.
The Highlassies have an overall record of 35-13 and are 19-8 in conference play.
