Highlanders finish fifth at Thunderbird

The McLennan Highlanders shot 295-296 – 591 to finish in fifth place of the Thunderbird Invitational in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Western Texas finished first place with 288-279 –567, followed by New Mexico A in second with 295-278 – 573 and New Mexico B in third with 300-287 – 587.

Abe Bignell shot 70-76 – 146 to lead the Highlanders and finish tied for seventh.
