Highlanders ranked eighth in Bushnell/Golfweek poll

McLennan men's golf squad is ranked eighth in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA Division I Coaches' Poll, receiving 19 points.
 
Midland (Texas) remained in the top spot with 64 points, followed by Hutchinson (Kansas) in second with 56 points and Odessa (Texas) in third with 51 points. Indian Hills (Iowa) and New Mexico round out the top-five with 48 and 42 points, respectively.
 
Other Texas schools in the poll are Western Texas at seventh with 21 points and Weatherford at 10th with 12 points. Blinn is receiving votes
 
The Highlanders will compete at the NJCAA National Preview Oct. 24-25 at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kansas.
