Highlanders finish fourth at national tournament

The McLennan Highlanders finished fourth with 289-281-291-279 – 1,140 at the NJCAA Men's National Championship at the par-71, 7-112-yard Rockwind Community Links in Hobbs, New Mexico.
 
New Mexico claimed the team title with 280-293-278-272 – 1,123, followed by Odessa in second with 293-282-276-275 – 1,126 and Midland in third with 284-292-275-279 – 1,130.
 
Carter Patterson shot 71-71-72-68 – 282 to lead the Highlanders and finish tied for 11th place.
