McLennan Highlanders finish in third place at Claude Jacobs Invitational
The McLennan Highlanders shot 303-293-293 – 889 to finish in third place at the Claude Jacobs Invitational hosted by the University of Houston-Victoria at the par-72, 6,870-yard Victoria Country Club. McLennan was the top-finished two-year program in the field.
Texas Wesleyan finished in first place with 288-294-287 – 869, followed by host Houston-Victoria in second with 289-297-297 – 883.
Freshman Ulrik Joergensen shot 79-69-70 – 218 to lead the Highlanders and finish in fourth place.
