Highlanders tie New Mexico in dual match

The McLennan Highlanders and New Mexico Thunderbirds met for a Dual Match at the Diamondback Golf Club in Abilene and finished in a 2-2 tie.

Scoring was as follows:

• MCC's Caden Honea & Will Fore defeated NMJC's Ben Bushnell & Jonty Marshall 7&6
• MCC's Mason Mikeska & Arran Hastings lost 1 down to NMJC's Stuart Thurlow & Jacob Agerschou
• MCC's Luke Griggs & Ulrik Joergensen defeated NMJC's Magnus Lomholt & Nick Myers 3&2
• MCC's Hayes Hamilton & Holden Hamilton lost 1 down to NMJC's Liam Duncan & Harry Carruthers

 
The Highlanders will host the Dr Pepper Classic Oct. 14-15 at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course.
