Highlanders fall to Angelina
The McLennan Highlanders came up short in this afternoon's matchup against the Angelina Roadrunners at the Highlands, falling 82-75.
It was a tight game from start to finish with Angelina holding a one-point lead at intermission, 45-55.
Akili Vining led McLennan with 18 points. Lorenzo Anderson and Cameron Copeland score 15 and 14, respectively.
The Highlanders will host the Concordia JV at 5:30 p.m. Friday at The Highlands in the final tune-up before the beginning of conference play next week.
