McLennan's Vining named NTJCAC Player of the Week

McLennan Basketball's Akili Vining was named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week for Nov. 3-9.
 
The sophomore guard from Fort Worth averaged 20 points in the Highlanders' three games last week. He was the leading scored in two games, including 28 points scored against the Independence Pirates. He was 19-23 from the free-throw line and had eight rebounds four steals and three assists for the week.
