Highlanders slip in NJCAA Rankings

McLennan Baseball, 32-15 overall and 16-8 in conference play, slipped two spots to #20 in this week's NJCAA Division I Rankings.
 
LSU-Eunice continues to sit at  #1 with a 46-2 while Walters State (Tennessee) jumped two spots to #2 with a record of 43-6-1. Weatherford (Texas) fell one spot to #3 after splitting last week's series with McLennan to move its record to 38-9. Blinn (Texas) moved up one spot to  #4 with a record of 35-10, and Cowley (Kansas) Fell two spots to #5 with a 35-8 record.
 
Midland (41-6) and San Jacinto (28-14) are the only other Texas schools ranked, coming in at #6 and #25, respectively. Odessa is receiving votes.
 
The Highlanders travel to Vernon to face the Chaparrals at noon Tuesday in a conference doubleheader.
