McLennan's McAfee named Player of the Week

McLennan Baseball's Xander McAfee is the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference's Player of the Week for April 30-May 6. The freshman outfielder from Fort Worth had a .500 batting average last week with two doubles, two home runs and seven RBI. In the 10-1 win over Hill, McAfee went 1-3 with a home run, four RBI, a run scored and a walk. In the 7-1 win at Hill, he went 2-4 at the plate with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored. In the final game of the series at Hill, a 3-2 extra-inning win, he went 2-4 with a home run, an RBI and a run scored.
