The McLennan Highlanders dropped both games of Wednesday's conference doubleheader in Ranger.
The Rangers took game one 3-2 with Sterling Wynn taking the loss on the mound for the Highlanders. Matt Campbell and Miles Manning both hit a doubles for McLennan. Max Hogan picked up both Highlander RBIs.
Ranger defeated the Highlanders 4-0 in game two with Enrique Oquendo getting the loss. Hogan led the Highlanders at the plate, going 2-3. Andrew Rhodes and Trevor Podsednik both hit doubles.
The two teams will complete the four-game series on Saturday with a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Bosque River Ballpark.
