The McLennan Highlanders and North Central Lions split today's conference doubleheader in Gainesville.
North Central defeated McLennan 8-1 in the first game with Grag Maisto taking the loss on the mound. Matt Campbell was 1-3 at the plate with an RBI and Mason George recorded a double.
The Highlanders defeated the Lions 3-1 in the nightcap with Kody Hessemer picking up the win. Campbell was 2-4 at the plate, and Andrew Rhodes and Zac Valenzuela both recorded RBIs.
McLenan returns to action on Tuesday, hosting Indian Hills for a single game at 2 p.m.
