McLennan Highlassies finish 2nd at district championship, qualify for national tournament
The McLennan Highlassies shot 315-317-327 – 959 to finish second place at the NJCAA Southwest District Championship at the Hawks Creek Golf Club in Westworth Village. Western Texas finished in first place with 312-313-324 – 949. Western Texas and McLennan both receive automatic qualification to the NJCAA Women's Golf National Championship May 9-12 at Mayfair Country Club in Sanford, Florida.
Freshman Raeleigh Davidson shot 78-72-79 – 229 to lead the Highlassies and finish in third place individually.
