McLennan women's golf ranked third heading into national tournament

The McLennan Community College women's golf team is ranked third nationally in the Golfstat rankings leading up to next week's national tournament.
Daytona State (Florida) and Seminole State (Florida) continued to hold the top two spots. Redlands (Oklahoma) and Iowa Western round out the top five. Region V foe Western Texas is ranked 11th.
Individually, sophomore Caitlin Brown is ranked 20th nationally and freshmen Makenna Davidson, Joely Henderson, Tyler Morrison, and Alejandra Rodriguez are ranked 26th, 33rd, 36th, and 37th, respectively.
The Highlassies will compete in the NJCAA Women's Golf Championship May 15-18 at Chateau Elan Golf Club in Duluth, Georgia.
