Highlassies finish in 11th place at Husky Invitational
The McLennan Highlassies shot 331-328-335 – 994 to finish in 11th place at the HBU Husky Invitational at the par-72, 6,085-yard Riverbend Country Club in Sugar Land, Texas.
Sam Houston State claimed the team title with 295-297-300 – 892 followed by Houston Baptist in second with 303-302-301 – 906 and Texas State in third with 294-310-303 – 907.
Makenna Davidson shot 79-81-81 – 241 to lead the Highlassies and finish tied for 29th place. Sam Houston's Gianti Marhardhika, a former McLennan Highlassie, claimed the individual title with 69-74-73 – 216.
