McLennan’s Williams named Player of the Week

McLennan women's basketball forward Aniya Williams is the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference's Player of the Week for Dec. 4-9. Williams, a sophomore from Marlin recorded a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds, six offensive and seven defensive, in the win over No. 19 Blinn. In two games, she shot 10-17 from the field and 3-9 from the free throw line, and had 22 rebounds.
