Highlassies' Nowlin named Player of the Week

McLennan women's basketball sophomore guard Meakeyleetrieceiavia "KeeKee" Nowlin has been named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Feb. 17-23.

The Bryan native scored a career-high 31 points to lead the Highlassies to a 93-74 victory over Grayson on Sophomore Day at The Highlands. In two games last week, she scored 52 points to go along with 14 assists and 11 rebounds. For the week, she was 17-34 from the field and 14-18 from the free throw line.
