Highlanders finish fifth at NJCAA national tournament

The McLennan Highlanders shot 286-305-299-307 – 1,197 to finish in fifth place at the NJCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship at the Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City, Kansas.

Odessa finished in first place with 284-292-297-293 – 1,166, followed by Indian Hills in second with 292-292-288-298 – 1,170 and Eastern Florida State in third with 294-289-299-290 – 1,172. Midland was fourth with 294-293-292-304 – 1,183. 

Sophomore Kade Miller shot 72-74-69-78 – 293 to lead the Highlanders and finish tied for eighth.
