McLennan golf teams finish fourth and eighth at Dr Pepper Classic
The McLennan Blue team shot 309-302 – 611 and the McLennan Orange team shot 316-319 – 635 to finish in fourth and eighth place, respectively, after day one of the McLennan Dr Pepper Classic at Twin Rivers Golf Club.
New Mexico finished in first place with 299-297 – 596, followed by Tyler in second with 316-292 – 608 and Hutchinson in third with 301-309 – 610.
Ryan Brown and Micah Goulas shot 76-75 – 151 and 79-72 – 151, respectively, to lead the Highlanders and finish tied for ninth individually.
