Highlanders finish 10th at High Country Shootout

The McLennan Highlanders shot 291-291-294 – 876 to finish in 10th place at the High Country Shootout hosted by Midland College at the par-72, 6,757-yard course, The Links at Sierra Blanca in Ruidoso, New Mexico.
Odessa A finished in first place with 277-280-270 – 827, followed by Midland in second with 278-274-280 – 832 and New Mexico in third with 289-278-282 – 849.
Sophomore Ryan Brown shot 67-74-75 – 216 to lead the Highlanders and finished tied for 21st place.

This marks the Highlanders' second top-10 finish this fall. The team opened the season with a fifth-place finish at the Andrew College/Am Invitational and will compete in the Dodge City Shootout on Oct. 8 in Dodge City, Kansas.
