Highlanders eclipse the Suns
The McLennan Highlanders rebounded from a tough road loss over the weekend with an 80-61 victory over the Cedar Valley Suns this afternoon at The Highlands.

15-5, with 14:15 in the first. McLennan responded with an 11-0 run over the next five minutes to extend the lead to 21, 26-5. The Highlanders continued to control the game and held the 42-20 advantage at the break.
Cedar Valley emerged from the locker room fired up, opening on a 10-0 run to pull within 12, 42-30. That would prove to be as close as the Suns would get. McLennan led by as many as 23 down the stretch on the way to the win.
