Highlanders bounce back into win column at Ford Hood
The McLennan Highlanders bounced back into the win column with a 73-65 victory over the Fort Hood Phantom Warriors on the road.
The Highlanders built a 35-29 lead at the end of the first half and held off the Phantom Warriors in the second half by outscoring them 38-36.
Xavier Armstead led McLennan with 18 points and Garrett Shaw added 14.
McLennan travels to Snyder for the Western Texas Classic Friday and Saturday.
