Highlanders’ Armstead named All-Region

McLennan guard Xaiver Armstead has been named to the NJCAA Region V All-Region Team. The freshman, a Midway graduate, led the Highlanders with 15.2 points per game along with 4.8 rebounds. He was also second in the conference with a 47.0 3-point percentage and was named the North Texas Junior College Athletics Conference (NTJCAC) Newcomer of the Year and a first-team all-conference selection.
