Highlanders' Armstead earns Player of the Week honor

McLennan men's basketball freshman guard Xaiver Armstead has been named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Nov. 26-Dec. 2.
The Midway graduate shot 8-12 from the field including seven 3-pointers to tally 23 points and lead the Highlanders to a 101-66 win over the Fort Hood Phantom Warriors. He also recorded seven rebounds, four assists and three steals on the night.
