Highlanders top Bossier Parish
The McLennan Highlanders opened the game on a 14-0 run and never looked back as they defeated the Bossier Parish Cavaliers 102-86 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
McLennan held Bossier Parish scoreless for the first three minutes of play and led by as many as 17 in the first half. The Highlanders led 56-41 at the break.
The Cavaliers began to rally late in the second half, cutting the lead to eight with 6:21 remaining in the game. But, the Highlanders pulled away once again, cruising to the easy victory.
Shannon Bogues led the Highlanders with 26 points. Ben Nakwaasah and Jerami Grace added 15 and 14, respectively. Alex Mills and Brian Long score 12 each.
