Highlanders drop in NJCAA poll

The McLennan Community College men's basketball team dropped two spots to 25th in the latest NJCAA Division I Poll released today.
Vincennes (Indiana) moved up from second to first this week. Hill (Texas) jumped two spots to second, followed by Northwest Florida State in third, Connors State (Oklahoma) in fourth and Butler (Kansas) in fifth.
Trinity Valley (eighth), South Plains (17th) and San Jacinto (19th) round out the Texas schools in the poll.
The Highlanders have an overall record of 21-5 and are 6-2 in conference play. They will face second-ranked Hill at 4 p.m. on Saturday in Hillsboro.
