Highlanders receiving votes in NJCAA poll
The McLennan Community College men's basketball team dropped from 23rd to receiving votes in the latest NJCAA Division I Poll following last Wednesday's six-point loss to fifth ranked Hill College.
Northwest Florida State College and Vincennes University (Indiana) have flipped first and second positions this week. College of Southern Idaho, Butler Community College (Kansas) and Hill remain in third through fifth.
Trinity Valley Community College (11th), San Jacinto College (15th) and South Plains College (20th) round out the Texas schools in the poll. Odessa College is also receiving votes.
The Highlanders have an overall record of 18-4 and are 3-1 in conference play. They continue conference play tomorrow, hosting Weatherford College at 7:30 p.m.
