Highlanders rout Concordia JV
The McLennan Highlanders defeated the Concordia University JV 109-57 on Tuesday afternoon at The Highlands.
The Highlanders opened the game on an 8-0 run and led 31-29 with 6:47 remaining in the first half. McLennan broke the game open with an 18-0 run late in the half and led 59-34 at the break.
McLennan continued to pull away in the second half as the team cruised to the easy victory.
Jalen Jones led five Highlanders in double figures with 20 points. Ricardo Artis and Jeff Beverly scored 15 each. James Harrison and Aundre Jackson added 12 each.
McLennan returns to action tonight, hosting Bossier Parish at 7 p.m.
