Highlanders smash Cedar Valley
The McLennan Highlanders smashed the Cedar Valley Suns 98-40 on Monday night at The Highlands.
The game was close through the first seven minutes of play with the game tied at 17 with 12:51 remaining in the first half. The Highlanders used a 10-0 run over the next three minutes to break the game open and held the 49-27 advantage at the half.
McLennan held the Suns to only 13 points in the second half as the team cruised to the easy victory.
Sophmore James Harrison led six Highlanders in double figures with 18 points.
McLennan returns to action on Dec. 4 against Eastfield at 7 p.m. in Mesquite.
