"We have to give Midland credit this weekend. They just flat out beat us," coach Mitch Thompson said. "Their hitters were hooked up all weekend and they out played us. I am disappointed in our performance, but I know that these games will make us better at the end of the year. We have to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and get better."
McLennan returns to action on Tuesday, hosting Angelina for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
