Highlanders sweep Rebels

The McLennan Highlanders swept the Hill Rebels this afternoon in Hillsboro.

The Highlanders took game one 9-7 with Greg Maisto getting the win and Patrick Herbelin picking up the save. Zach Gonzalez was 3-4 at the plate with a home run and two RBIs. Evan Williams and Andrew Rhodes both hit doubles. Rhodes picked up two RBIs while Williams, Max Hogan and Miles Manning recorded one each.

McLennan defeated Hill 8-4 in the nightcap with Kody Hessemer on the mound for the win. Dalton Rodriguez hit two doubles with two RBIs. Zac Valenzuela also hit a double and picked up two RBIs. Trevor Podsednik had two RBIs and Rhodes had one.
