The McLennan Highlanders dropped both games of Saturday's conference doubleheader with the Grayson Vikings in Denison.

Grayson took game one 7-6 with Kody Hessemer taking the loss on the mound. Max Hogan led the Highlanders at the plate, going 4-4 with a triple and an RBI, and Evan Williams hit a solo home run. Andrew Rhodes picked up two RBIs, while Trevor Podsednik and Zahc Gonzalez recorded one RBI each.

The Vikings shut out the Highlanders 8-0 in the nightcap with Greg Maisto getting the loss. Hogan was 2-3 with two doubles.
McLennan will host Hill at 1 p.m. Wednesday in a conference doubleheader.
