The McLennan Highlanders dropped both games of Friday's doubleheader with the Midland Chaparrals at Bosque River Ballpark.
Midland took game one 11-5 with Sterling Wynn taking the loss on the mound. Max Hogan led McLennan at the plate, going 2-3 with a triple and an RBI. Zach Suarez, Eric Johnson, Lorenzo Lynch and Tanner Fritsch all picked up an RBI.
The Highlanders fell 7-2 in the nightcap with Enrique Oquendo taking the loss. Evan Williams and Matt Campbell both hit doubles. Lynch and Zac Valenzuela picked up the RBIs.
